Excellent hospitality and great location

So convenient and great location. I loved you can use breakfast area as a working space after mornings and you can have food and drink from convenience store.

Hotel is not new, so you can see it’s bit tired and old but always well cleaned.

Like its location, cosy and calm place to stay

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful (e.g. in upgrading the room, keeping the luggage while waiting to check-in and booking a table in a restaurant). The cleaning staff was very sweet. The twin room was very comfortable when traveling with 2 big suitcases. The library café was very inviting and the laundromat near this feature was very simple to operate and appreciated. The metro station (2 lines) right underneath the hotel made it very easy to venture to the touristic center. The location in the Koto area is perfect for "slow" tourism (i specifically chose not to stay in overtouristic areas) and offers enough possibilities in terms of shopping and restaurant options in various styles.

There was nothing to dislike.

Very Good

Good breakfast buffet and very welcoming staff. Rooms are small but functional. Lucky we had a room on the top floor with amazing vista on Skytree!

Surrounding of the hotel is nothing special from a touristic perspective, in return it is well connected by metro.

Location is excellent, Room is just enough

Location is superb. The underground station is just below the hotel and you can access to two lines, Hanzomon and Oedo. The room is just enough and always kept clean.

Breakfast is horrible. All may be frozen foods.

Very pleasant! Great service, quiet rooms and superb location.

Great location, decent breakfast and a chill vibe. All services you’d expect from a hotel are there.

Not a biggie, but there is no option to use stairs beyond the first floor (if you don’t want to trigger the alarm). I get that many see this as a luxury, but it really only makes sense when you need to go to high floors, got significant luggage or when you feel lazy.

A good stay at quieter part of Tokyo.

It’s located next to a subway station and there’s a convenience store on the ground floor. For those who like to use subway and prefer to stay at quieter part of Tokyo, the hotel is very recommended. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I may not stay again because of the breakfast is important for me.

Good location, hotel is right next to the station and convinces store.

Not much variety of food in breakfast. No miso soup and white rice. Bread was no good.

Comfort Hotel Kiyosumi Shirakawa

The location was convenient relatively close to Haneda Airport where we landed and close to the metro as well. There were several interesting museums and gardens in the vicinity. The staff were polite and respectful but their ability to answer questions in English was limited. The hotel was clean .there was variety for breakfast, comfortable Cafe seating . This area was open at night for coffee, tea and water. The staff answered questions by email before we arrived.

The room was smaller than anticipated..and truly cramped. Very high bathroom tub to step into vs walk in shower.The TV was only Japanese language not even 1 channel in English which was not clear on the website. The breakfast was fair..a variety but if you came at 9 or later some items were already unavailable like eggs. The fruit was frozen. In the room only one pillow and no room to navigate for person sleeping under the window..had to crawl over my husband to get in and out of bed if he went to bed before me and invariably woke him up if I had to get up in the muddle if the night. The staff was pleasant but were not able to easily answer questions posed in English that were out of the norm

Convenient and accessible place to stay

Close to the train station, very good room cleaning service, and the location is near a sushi rice bowl restaurant. No need to go to Tsukiji to get fresh seafood. Very affordable and good alternative to convenience store food.
